MY BABY THIS WEEK®
Hello, Chen
Your baby is developing new skills every day and building on the ones she's got. By now you may be able to tell from her expression when she is excited, unhappy, pleased or surprised. When you talk to your baby, she may move her arms and legs and make little noises back to you. Your baby may hold objects for a few moments, but without looking to see what's in her hands. She may swipe at things with her fists, too. Your baby will love batting at a balloon or a ball of wool, but you'll need to watch her carefully to make sure she's safe.

Does my baby have reflux?
It's normal for your baby to bring up a little of her feed sometimes. But if she continually brings back her milk, or cries excessively after feeds, she may have reflux.

Quick tip: wriggle-free nappy changes
"I've hung a coat-hanger securely above Sam's changing mat and tie different-coloured light objects to it to make an ever-changing mobile. Cotton reels, ribbons, bangles... It certainly keeps his interest and makes nappy changing easier now he's got to that wriggly stage." Sharon
